30-Day Book Challenge: Day 12

Day 12: A book you love but hate at the same time

I don’t have a book that I love and hate…that seems a bit weird. Though, there is a book I can think of that I love, but rationally I’ll admit it’s a poorly written book…

This is a YA teen mystery/romance set in the Regency era in England. It follows a young woman’s presentation to society and the mystery and romance that ensues. It’s clichéd, predictable, and frustrating, but I first read it when I was about fourteen and I’ve loved it ever since.

  1. We all have these books, I guess. We’re so impressionable when we’re young, and at an age when we don’t even know what clichés mean! Howard’s Conan stories were one of my earliest loves, but today, I can hardly read them without vomiting. 😀

Also, why didn’t I realise before that you were doing such a fun challenge? I look forward to a lot of these!
